Nor is the vicinity of the building left behind in terms of artistic impression. When walking through your new neighbourhood you will surely notice the Smíchov Market, an Art Nouveau gem in Smíchov, the St Václav Church and a functionalist synagogue, the only of its kind in Prague.
Smíchov was formerly popular among the nobility, thanks in part to its inspirational Baroque, Classicist and Art Nouveau architecture, and they most likely passed by the block of flats on the way to the nearby vineyards, or to one of the summer houses. This, too, was Smíchov.
Today the residence is part of a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by opportunities for relaxation, entertainment and education.
